The staff at Smart 1 Floor Homes prides itself on exceptional customer service.  We go the extra mile to meet or exceed the industry standards and the standards enforced by HCRA's Construction Performance Guidelines.  As of February 1, 2021 HCRA is the regulatory authority of the New Home Construction Licencing Act which governs and licences home builders while the Tarion Warranty Corporation continues to provide the Warranty protectioin for homeowners.

Pre-Delivery Inspection
 

On the day of your PDI, we will personally guide you through your new home and provide you with any and all information you will require about the home including your Tarion Home Information Package.  We will test and demonstrate all of your home's features and systems.  Together we will make note of anything damaged, missing or incomplete. 

Once you register with Tarion which you can do as early as the day the Offer to Purchase is signed, Tarion will send you email notifications with your responsibilities as a homeowner and also provide you with opportunities to file a form if there were any items that were not completed at the time of your PDI or any issues that you experienced once you took possession that the builder did not take care of.  Any manufacturer delays of product will likely not apply by the time you take possession but if they do they will be disclosed asap.
